4 Days/ 3 Nights Selous Nyerere National Park Safari

Day 1: Dar es Salaam – Selous Nyerere National Park

• Transfer: Meet and greet with your driver guide in Dar es Salaam.
• Journey: Drive to Selous Nyerere National Park (approx. 3.5 hours).
• Arrival: Arrive at your safari camp for a hot lunch.
• Afternoon Activity: Boat ride on the Rufiji River.
• Accommodation: Selous Nyerere Tented Camp (Full board).

Day 2: Selous Nyerere National Park

• Morning: Breakfast.
• Activity: Full day game drive exploring Selous.
  • Description: This vast game reserve, recently upgraded to a national park, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With five lakes and the mighty Rufiji River as focal points, it offers a stunning variety of habitats and landscapes. Selous has the largest population of endangered wild dogs. High chances of spotting elephants, lions, buffalo, crocodiles, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, waterbucks, wildebeests, zebras, and many more. The birdlife is also astounding.
• Evening: Return to your accommodation.
• Accommodation: Selous Nyerere Tented Camp (Full board).

Day 3: Selous Nyerere National Park

• Morning: Breakfast.
• Activity: Full day game drive exploring other areas of Selous National Park.
  • Description: Selous is one of the few destinations in Africa to see wild dogs. Watch wild dogs hunting, amazing plains game, birdlife, and the big cats. For sundowners, unwind at the camp and enjoy the view.
  • Options: With a private safari vehicle, choose either:
    • A morning half-day game drive, return to the camp for hot lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.
    • Or a full day game drive with picnic lunch.
• Evening: Return to your accommodation.
• Accommodation: Selous Nyerere Tented Camp (Full board).

Day 4: Selous National Park to Dar es Salaam

• Morning: Breakfast.
• Return: Drive back to Dar es Salaam.
