10 Days Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Stay

Day 01: Arrival in Tanzania
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our representative and safari manager. You will be transferred to your Safari Lodge around Arusha for a safari briefing and relaxation before your adventure begins tomorrow.

Day 02: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, the third largest park in Tanzania. Known for its large elephant population, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, Tarangire is a must-see. The Tarangire River attracts many animals, especially during the dry season. Look out for lions, elephants, leopards, oryx, dik-diks, and numerous bird species. In the afternoon, check in at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 03: Tarangire - Lake Manyara National Park
Opt for an early morning game drive if desired. After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and rich wildlife. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site or a hot lunch at the lodge before afternoon game drives. In the late afternoon, head to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge or Country Lodge.

Day 04: Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Karatu town. After registration at the Loduare Gate, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a day of game viewing. Spot the Big Five and enjoy the stunning scenery. Ascend the crater rim in the late afternoon and check in at Ngorongoro Farm House for dinner and overnight.

Day 05: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Opt for a dawn game drive to see nocturnal animals retiring and diurnal species waking up. After breakfast, embark on a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. Depending on the season, witness the Great Migration or spot resident wildlife like lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and numerous bird species. Overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Camp.

Day 06: Serengeti - Flight to Zanzibar Island
Enjoy an early morning game drive if desired. After breakfast, drive to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar Island. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Ocean Paradise Resort for check-in and relaxation.

Day 07: Stonetown and Zanzibar Spice Tour
After breakfast, check out of the beach resort and visit the Spice Plantations of Zanzibar. Learn about the history of the plantations and sample local Swahili dishes for lunch. In the afternoon, tour the ancient Stonetown, a UNESCO World Heritage site, exploring its narrow alleys, cathedrals, Old Fort, House of Wonders, and the People’s Palace. Overnight at Paradise Beach Resort.

Day 08: Full-Day Safari Blue
Spend a full day sailing around mangroves and snorkeling along Menai Bay, known for its excellent coral reefs. Visit Kwale Island, relax on a sandbank, and enjoy a seafood barbecue featuring octopus, lobsters, squids, calamari, and fish. Taste exotic fresh fruits like bananas, watermelon, pineapple, and mangoes.

Day 09: Relax at Beach Resort
Enjoy a leisure day at the hotel. Relax, swim, and unwind. Overnight at Paradise Beach Resort.
